Hi, I’m John

The table has always meant more than a meal.

Raised in the Carolinas and surrounded by agriculture, I learned early that food carries culture, memory and connection.

I still remember coming home from church and gathering around the table for Sunday dinner. That experience stayed with me as I entered culinary programs, graduated from Johnson & Wales and built a career in hospitality.

As I learned the trade, my perspective shifted. The work was not only about what appeared on the plate. It was about how people felt while dining, the care they experienced and the connection they carried with them afterward.

In a world that moves quickly, the table remains one of the few places where people can slow down, be present and reconnect.
